The fight against fires continues in Sardinia , where today nine fires were recorded in different areas of the regional territory . Of these, one required the use of the regional fleet's aircraft. The most complex intervention took place in Dualchi , in the Su Grecu area , in the province of Nuoro. More than 250 hectares of vegetation were affected by the fire: a very large area for which the intervention of two Canadairs from the National Corps' air fleet that took off from Ciampino was decisive. The fire also affected the countryside of Sedilo and Aidomaggiore .

Several teams from the Sardinia Region Forestry Corps are taking part in the extinguishing and cleanup operations, coordinated by the Bolotana Forestry Station Command and supported by personnel from the Ghilarza forestry stations and specialists from the Gauf (Fire Analysis and Use Group) in Oristano. Teams from Forestas, Barracelli and a helicopter that took off from the Anela operations base also intervened on site.

Containment and control activities in the area continue, to ensure a timely response in the event of any resurgence of the fire. The authorities invite citizens to exercise maximum caution and cooperation.
