Fight against the spread of drugs in Nuoro schools, checks also on buses

To prevent and combat the use and trafficking of drugs in the schools of Nuoro, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command together with the canine units of the Heliported Hunters Squadron of Sardinia have carried out a series of activities organized in two phases. One on the means of transport with the control of the buses on which students travel from nearby centers; the other in some high schools where drug dogs have "inspected" the entrances.

The military, thanks to the nose of the dog Kira, found some doses of marijuana on a bus coming from Oliena, certainly in the possession of some student who got rid of it before being subjected to the control.

Also on a bus, a young man was caught with a few doses of marijuana he intended to take to school. For this he was reported to the Prefecture as a drug user.
