These are the first words of Emiliano Fenu as mayor of Nuoro . The M5s deputy, candidate of Campo largo, obtained a landslide victory in the first round, taking more than double the votes of Giuseppe Luigi Cucca, head of the center-right civic lists.

Fenu obtained 62.95%, Cucca 25.91%, Lisetta Bidoni 8.94%, Domenico Mele 2.2% .

Fenu, flanked by Alessandra Todde, met with journalists at his electoral headquarters: «I thank the entire coalition - he began - because with courage and responsibility from the beginning they have shown that they believe in the project that thinks first of all of the city and that puts it back at the center as it deserves to be in the regional context ».
