Sindia farmer Antonio Oggianu, 47, died this morning in the hospital where he had been admitted two months ago, the victim of a serious workplace accident that occurred last October on a farm in the countryside near the town, near the road to Scano Montiferro.

While operating a tractor, Oggianu fell to the ground and was hit by the vehicle .

The man, who was promptly rescued, was airlifted to Nuoro Hospital and then to Marino Hospital in Cagliari , where he was admitted to the spinal unit. At first, it seemed he would recover. However, his condition worsened, and he died this morning.

An investigation into the incident is underway, and it is being handled by the Carabinieri of the Macomer company and Spresal employees.
