Faradda, the Carpenters' candlestick breaks: despair among the bearers, solidarity from the public

Moments of despair yesterday during the Faradda in Sassari , when the chandelier of the Carpenters' Guild suddenly broke at the base in the last stretch before arriving at the church .

Despair and tears among the bearers who were forced to carry the candle horizontally in Piazza Santa Maria. However, there was great solidarity from those present , both the supporters and the public, who applauded the entrance of the candlestick .
