They want the price that was in effect in November, no more: 1 euro and 50 cents per liter for diesel. And they ask that the compulsory costs for safety linked to the maintenance of the vehicles be reduced. The requests are contained in a letter that the Sardinian Transport Coordination, which includes the owners of companies in the sector and road hauliers, sent to the ministry, to the president of the Region Christian Solinas and to the prefect of Cagliari, who received a delegation of demonstrators .

The scenario is the port of via Roma in Cagliari, but also many other points in Sardinia. At the airport, the hauliers blocked the heavy vehicles disembarked from the Grimaldi cargo coming from Naples this morning . Four hauliers who were on the ship joined the protest, the others were blocked at the exit of the port in via riva di Ponente.

The demonstrators, who maintained the garrison throughout the night, slowed down the traffic at the exit from the freight yard and distributed leaflets to motorists passing in front of the Customs gate.

Another garrison in Cagliari is in front of the industrial port exit.
