On the ninth day of the sit-in, after eight nights in the silo 40 meters above the ground, the workers are continuing their protest and are relaunching their campaign . "The Ministry of Economy and Finance should sit down at the table on December 10th," the workers say. "We need a solution now; it's provided for by law."
Meanwhile, the local community is rallying behind the workers: the municipalities will propose a motion in support of the Eurallumina workers.

Yesterday , Don Antonio Mura, parish priest of Portoscuso and head of Pastoral Care for Labor for the Diocese of Iglesias, also visited Portovesme to express his closeness to the workers .
