On the tenth day and ninth night of the sit-in at the Eurallumina silo, forty metres above ground, the workers are launching an appeal to Labour Minister Marina Calderone, who will be in Cagliari on Friday for the centenary of Confindustria Sardinia .

"Come here to the rally. You are an authoritative representative of the Meloni government and can take a stand," the workers say.

Meanwhile, today the Eurallumina case will be discussed at a meeting chaired by Regional Council President Piero Comandini with the Regional Council group leaders. Trade unions and a delegation of Eurallumina workers will also participate.

Tomorrow afternoon, the Regional Council's Industry Committee will meet in Portovesme, at the Eurallumina protest. Furthermore, the local municipalities will gradually approve a motion supporting the dispute. "Our struggle continues," say the workers on their tenth day atop the silo.
