A new mural is added and completes the work of the Sardinian artist Jorghe at Cagliari Airport: after The Tree of Life, which welcomes passengers arriving from the train station , on the same route The Gallery of Olives is added. The painting, which extends for almost nine hundred square meters, runs along the viaduct that leads to the main arrivals tower, accompanying travelers in a unique artistic experience.

Jorghe, born Giorgio Casu , is an internationally renowned Sardinian artist who has made his creativity a symbol of Sardinia. After conquering New York with works such as The Owl , exhibited in Times Square , and leaving his mark on the Amsicora Stadium with the iconic mural of Gigi Riva , he has signed another masterpiece dedicated to all travellers departing and arriving in Sardinia.

“The fact that I painted the ceiling made this work particularly tricky. I’m very happy to be able to show the finished work,” Casu said.
