The two young men who had attacked an employee of the Lidl supermarket, in via Principe di Piemonte, in Porto Torres, were reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office. The charge is of personal injury in competition and aggravated damage in competition.

At the end of the investigation carried out by the carabinieri of the Porto Torres company, led by Major Danilo Vinciguerra, it was possible to identify those responsible for the episode that occurred on Sunday evening.

They are two Nigerian citizens - and not Senegalese nationals as they were initially identified - aged 24 and 27, one resident in Porto Torres and the second in Sassari. They had turned up drunk at the point of sale with two cans of beer in their hands, claiming that they had already paid the bill.

At the reaction of the order they had attacked, with shoves and kicks, the security officer intervened to remove them. They had also kicked the sliding glass door as they left the shop, creating an uproar and apprehension among the customers present. The military collected videos and testimonies, images recorded by video surveillance cameras that made it possible to reconstruct what happened.
