A foreign tourist on holiday in Porto Cervo ended up in trouble, stopped and reported by Sassari police officers.

The events took place around one in the morning on 8 July, when the operations room sent the patrol of the Olbia Traffic Police to the most well-known center of the Costa Smeralda, Porto Cervo, where, right near the port, an accident had just occurred car accident.

Once on site, the police reconstructed how a Porsche Carrera 4S, traveling on the wrong side of the road, had collided head-on with a taxi . From the investigations there is no doubt about the responsibility of the driver of the luxury car, who later tested positive for alcohol with a rate over 3 times the permitted limit.

The traffic police officers then sanctioned the man and withdrew his driving license, which however later turned out to be counterfeit.

For the man, therefore, the complaint for having caused an accident by driving while intoxicated and for having a counterfeit license.
