Six convictions were requested yesterday in court in Sassari against as many people accused of trafficking and possession of drugs between Sassari, Nuoro, Ittiri, Alghero and Cagliari in 1999.

An alleged sale which, according to what the prosecution reports, had Francesco Baingio Douglas Fadda as the first reference, and around which all the others who ended up on trial then revolved.

And the 47-year-old, sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Zdenka Krejcikova in 2020 in Sorso, received the heaviest request: 6 years and 4 months. For the other two, Rocco Rossi and Sebastiano Mannu, like Fadda all defended by the lawyer Carlo Foddai, the prosecutor Antonio Pala asked for 6 and 4 years respectively. Six years also for Giovanni Urpi, assisted by the lawyer Marinella Madeddu, 6 for Piergiorgio Cogotti, whose lawyer is Ignazio Ballai, and finally 6 years also for Marco Zoppi, defended by Giuseppe Luigi Cucca. Declassification and prescription for Antonello Cosseddu, followed by lawyer Alberto Passino.
