Tragedy in the waters at the mouth of the Coghinas, on the border between Badesi and Valledoria . A 63-year-old German tourist drowned during a risky swim at sunset while he was with some friends who were staying at Camping La Foce in Valledoria.

The drama before the eyes of the friends who had decided to go out on a kayak. Due to the rough sea, the boat overturned , luckily the other occupants managed to reach the shore and save themselves. The 63-year-old, however, swimming with difficulty was swallowed by the waves .

It happened yesterday, Tuesday 23 July around 9pm. The currents and rough waters gave the tourist no escape and he asked for help, but after a few minutes he was recovered from the sea. The Turritana Coast Guard motor vessel intervened on site following the report received by the operations room of the Port Authority of Porto Torres.
