He operated a beach resort of approximately 700 square meters on Osalla beach, in the municipality of Dorgali, without any state concession or VAT registration. The business, completely unknown to the tax authorities, was identified and seized by the Nuoro Financial Police during summer patrols along the provincial coastline.
The financial police were suspicious of the particularly competitive price list compared to other legitimate establishments in the same area, which prompted a thorough investigation. The checks confirmed the lack of any administrative or tax authorization to operate the business.
As a result, the military proceeded to seize all the equipment used to manage the establishment: umbrellas, pedal boats, canoes, paddles, gazebos, tables, chairs, and signs.
The person responsible has been reported to the Nuoro Public Prosecutor's Office for violating Article 1161 of the Navigation Code, which punishes the illegal occupation of state-owned maritime areas.
