Dolianova, rear-end collision: cyclist at Brotzu in danger of life
One car collided with another, which hit a man who was riding his electric bike
Bad accident last night in Dolianova, involving two cars and a bike with the elderly cyclist hospitalized in serious condition at Brotzu.
A 68-year-old man from Dolianova was riding his electric bike via Cagliari when he was hit by a Peugeot driven by a 34-year-old local traveling in the same direction.
The Peugeot was in turn violently rear-ended by another Peugeot driven by another 34-year-old who was traveling with his wife and two minor children.
On the spot the carabinieri and 118 ambulances. Rescuers brought the 68-year-old to Brotzu, in danger of life. In hospital, but only for investigations and in non-serious conditions, the wife and children of the 34-year-old who caused the accident by rear-end Peugeot.
The carabinieri were also on the spot, who started investigations to reconstruct the dynamics and requested toxicological tests to check if the driver who caused the collision was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
