Three people were injured, including the attacker and a soldier, in a violent family fight that broke out around midnight in a house in Dolianova.
The local police station responded to a call for help from a 66-year-old retired farmer: he had reported a violent argument with his 42-year-old unemployed son, already known to the police, who was out of his mind due to drug use.
First, he kicked his father out of the house. And when the man tried to re-enter, accompanied by the Carabinieri, he threw a firecracker at him. The explosion shattered the glass of an interior door, causing superficial injuries to his father's legs and minor bruises to one of the officers present. Both were treated at the scene: the father refused hospital transport, while the Carabinieri officer suffered a minor bruise.
The attacker, immediately immobilized and secured, subsequently manifested "anti-conservative intentions": he was urgently transported to the Santissima Trinità hospital.
But that's not all: the Carabinieri carried out a search, seizing approximately one and a half kilograms of already ground marijuana , presumably ready for release on the market.
