Receiving stolen goods and driving under the influence . These are the crimes reported to a 37-year-old unemployed man , already known to law enforcement, who was stopped in his car at dawn on Sunday by Carabinieri officers from the Dolinaova Company's Radiomobile unit and officers from the Sant'Andrea Frius station.

The Carabinieri officers decided to investigate after a fellow sergeant, who was returning home at the end of his shift, noticed a Lancia Ypsilon driving suspiciously in the center of Dolianova.

The officer, suspicious, alerted his colleagues, who arrived on the scene, stopped the car and demanded the driver's documents. The result: the vehicle was found to have been stolen shortly before in Sant'Andrea Frius . Furthermore, the 37-year-old was clearly impaired by alcohol and refused to take a breathalyzer test. Inevitably, he would be reported to the judicial authorities twice.
