Dirty country, dry weedy grass that invades entire neighborhoods and public areas . This is the calling card of the village which prides itself on being authentic. Summer has just begun and with it the danger of fires, the tall grass is now hay, a very dangerous fuse for possible fires. The fire and flame tragedy of three years ago has been completely forgotten. The cleaning work contracted by the municipal administration of Diego Loi is significantly late,

The complaint comes from the opposition "Future and Tradition", the group leader Giovanni Matta presented a question to the council: «The degradation affecting several streets in the town center is total, the accumulation of dry weeds requires the adoption of measures extraordinary. It is no longer tolerable that various corners of the country increasingly resemble grazing meadows, undermining urban decorum. The removal of foliage in the various green spaces also leaves much to be desired. Many roads, then, have deteriorated, the road surface has collapsed in several places. It is the image of a country in total abandonment."

Even San Leonardo is not doing well: «Neglect reigns supreme, the few tourists who choose to frequent it find dirty streets with visible potholes, torn slabs, rubbish scattered here and there and above all the gushes without water make San Leonardo an abandoned village."

Matta calls for urgent intervention to avoid potentially dangerous situations for the entire community and restore proper urban decorum.
