Only histological and toxicological tests , which must be carried out within sixty days, will be able to determine the cause of death of Paola Pusceddu , the 65-year-old woman who died yesterday Friday in a clinic on Via Trieste in Sinnai.

The macroscopic examinations carried out in the late morning by the forensic doctor Alberto Chighine of the University of Cagliari did not allow for an immediate identification of the cause of the tragedy: hence the need to resort to new laboratory tests which should begin this week at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Brotzu.

In the meantime, the body should soon be made available to the family for the funeral.
