The 2025 tourism data for the Alghero destination are encouraging . The numbers were presented by Mayor Raimondo Cacciotto , along with Tourism Councilor Ornella Piras, during a meeting at the Quarter. Also present were Graziano Porcu, President of the Alghero Foundation, and the representative of the Porto Conte Regional Natural Park Special Agency.

Also at the center is Alghero's positioning within the regional and national context and the investments made to improve services, promotion, and overall quality of hospitality, with attention to the environment, maintenance, decor, and culture.

The data clearly shows that Alghero is consolidating its position among Sardinia's top tourist destinations, with a growing trend over the last three years. Between 2023 and 2025, guests registered at the city's accommodation facilities increased by 26.66%. Overnight stays also increased, rising by 25.67% over the three-year period. This figure reflects not only the increase in visitors but also the city's ability to retain them longer.

A particularly encouraging sign also comes from the low season months of January, February, March, April, October, November, and December, which have seen a significant improvement in tourist flows.
