In Cagliari, new outbreaks of bovine dermatitis threaten to alter the traditional procession of Sant'Efisio. Today, the Local Health Authority and the Region will lift the restrictions on the quarantine imposed on cattle, currently until April 30th. If extended, a "Plan B" could be adopted to transport the statue on its pilgrimage: a sedan chair to Capoterra or a van to Nora and back.
