Crowded sea, decrease in the presence of Italians, but there is no shortage of foreigners. From Sarrabus to the coasts of Villasimius, Solanas, Torre delle Stelle and Geremeas, there was a holiday air. Ferragosto is not touched despite the crisis, even if you spend less than in the past.
«I returned to Sardinia after three years - says Giovanni Sanna, a Sardinian with residence in France -. I stop for a few days. Before not less than twenty days. This year, my vacation will be concentrated in one week. I'm going home on Thursday."
The coast of the south-eastern coast is not missing out on anything. Cala Sinzias, the magical beach of Castiadas, has also hosted the yachts of Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce, of the former emir of Qatar, Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, and the "Lady S" of the American Dan Snyder. Never happened around here.
«A beautiful postcard – says Pierpaolo Piu, director of the Garden Beach of Cala Sinzias -. Here it is all a fairy tale, splendid sea, uncontaminated nature. Tourists appreciate it."
In recent days, Solanas and Torre delle Stelle have also offered religious events such as the festival of San Giuseppe, the procession to the sea and diving at the foot of the Christ of the divers (at Genn'e Mari). Solanas did not miss even two evenings dedicated to the operas of Mozart and Donizetti.
Andrea Delpin, former FIGC president, now manager of Mara Badminton, European champion, is on vacation in Genn'e Mari, Torre delle Stelle. "I see a lot of movement, the mistral of the past few days has also made the beaches more beautiful, it's good".
