Six people injured in total, three in code red, one of whom was hospitalized in intensive care: the toll from the accident which occurred this night around 2am on the 130 is heavy.
The scene of the clash is always the same: the intersection between the main road and via Sestu, in Elmas. Two cars were involved: a BMW 525 D, driven by a fifty-one year old from Elmas, and a Fiat 500X, with four boys from Assemini and one from Decimomannu on board, between 19 and 34 years old. The first, destroyed, hit the guardrail, the other overturned and ended up in a garden.
At the moment the details of those involved are not known. The most serious of the three injured people transferred under code red, the fifty-one-year-old, is hospitalized in intensive care at Brotzu - hospital closed due to blackout but it was necessary to make a bed available - the other two, a twenty-year-old from Decimomannu and a twenty-one year old from Assemini, are at the Polyclinic. Those less seriously involved were instead taken to Santissima Trinità.
