Crash on the 125, 78 year old rescued and transferred to hospital

Two cars collided this morning along the SS 125, at km 225.5. The 118 health workers intervened on the spot and rescued an injured person who was driving a Fiat 600 and who was extracted from the cockpit by the Siniscola Fire Brigade. Once stabilized, the 78-year-old from Lodè was taken to San Francesco di Nuoro for investigations. The other car involved in the accident is a Ford EcoSport at the wheel of a 46-year-old from Orosei.
The dynamics of what happened is to be ascertained.
The carabinieri of the Santa Lucia station and a patrol of the Siniscola police were also present, as far as their authority was concerned. Anas operators took care of restoring the road network.
