Accident this morning at dawn on state road 131 near Sestu , towards Sassari .

A car was involved, an Alfa Mito with a 29-year-old on board who lost control of the vehicle and ended up hitting the traffic island and overturning.

The state road was temporarily closed to traffic and then reopened for rescue operations .

The driver was taken to hospital at Brotzu under code red . It wouldn't be life threatening.

The traffic police are on site.
