Covid vaccines, also in Sardinia via the third dose for children between 5 and 11 years

Via the booster of the anti-Covid-19 vaccination (third dose) for all children in the age group from 5 to 11 years.

The Ministry of Health, with the circular of 13 January, extended the vaccination campaign to the youngest by recommending the administration of the bivalent formulation (original strain and Omicron variant) to subjects who present conditions of fragility such as to expose them to the development of the most severe forms of infection.

In Sardinia, vaccinations will be administered at the vaccination hubs still active, at the public health and hygiene services and by pediatricians of free choice who have joined the regional agreement. Fragile patients can be vaccinated at the company facilities that have them in charge.

Reservations will be active from Wednesday 25 January, according to the methods already known: online from the dedicated site, through the ATMs of the post offices, through the Call Center 800.009966 (active every day from 8 to 20) and through the postmen.

The booking procedure allows you to choose the vaccination point from those available. Each Asl will be able to provide access to vaccination by reservation, but the administration of the vaccine will still be ensured for all people who go to the vaccination center even without a reservation.
