Covid, Sardinia mourns another 12 deaths in 24 hours. There are 1,580 new cases

In Sardinia, a slight decrease in daily cases of Covid-19 , but the coronavirus epidemic has claimed 12 deaths on the island in 24 hours .
With over 8,200 swabs performed , the positivity rate is 19.2% .
Here is the bulletin released by the Region on Wednesday 11 May 2022: “In Sardinia today there are 1580 further cases (yesterday 1.797, ed) confirmed of positivity to COVID (of which 1398 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 8215 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.
The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 10 (+1).
The patients admitted to the medical area are 260 (- 13).
24305 are the cases of home isolation (- 577).
There are 12 deaths (yesterday a victim, ed): two men aged 75 and 88, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; two men aged 74 and 88, residing in the province of South Sardinia; two women aged 89 and 95 plus two men aged 72 and 93, residing in the province of Nuoro; three women of 86, 93 and 94 years and a man of 89, residing in the province of Oristano ".
