Staff without masks and gatherings in the premises , the Carabinieri of the Sassari Labor Inspectorate have confirmed the charges against some discos on the Costa Smeralda and Olbia for the Covid contagion in the summer of 2020.

This morning the trial on the Covid epidemic among the employees of Billionaire, Phi Beach and the Country Club of Porto Rotondo began in Tempio.

Investigators who operated on behalf of the Tempio Prosecutor's Office appeared before the judges of the Gallura Court (panel presided over by Caterina Interlandi). The witnesses described the situation that emerged during the investigations that hypothesize the violation of the anti-contagion measures to protect workers.

In the Billionaire case, the culpable epidemic is contested . There is talk of over sixty infected people . The investigators explained that in the summer of 2020, press articles were acquired, and above all videos published by online newspapers, which documented the gatherings in the premises and the working conditions of the staff. The Carabinieri interviewed dozens of employees of the Billionaire, Phi Beach and the Country Club.

Witnesses speak of "failure to respect social distancing between people inside the premises and failure to use masks by customers". One witness spoke of a birthday party , documented by a video circulating on social media, the Billionaire employees were dancing and singing without social distancing and near the birthday girl. The investigations were conducted with the acquisition of material from social media.

An investigator said that the images show girls, the “billionerine,” some of them without masks. Lawyer Antonella Cuccureddu, the lawyer of Roberto Pretto, director of Billionaire, asked the witnesses how they acquired information about what was happening in the premises.
