Covid: one dead in Sardinia and another 1,079 positive

One death and 1,079 new coronavirus cases in Sardinia in the last 24 hours.

These are the data contained in today's bulletin issued by the Crisis Unit of the Region.

In total, 6,537 anti-Covid swabs, both molecular and antigenic, were processed.

The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 8 (-2 compared to yesterday ), those admitted to the medical area are 198 (-15).

While 21,948 are the cases of home isolation (-580).

The victim is a 78 year old resident in the province of Oristano.
