In Sardinia the new infections and the victims reaped in the 24 hours of the coronavirus epidemic are increasing.
With over 4,600 swabs performed, the positivity rate now exceeds 30%.
Here is the full bulletin released by the Region on Thursday 16 June 2022: “In Sardinia today there are 1413 further cases (yesterday, 1316, ed) confirmed of positivity to COVID (of which 1335 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 4,615 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.
There are 7 patients admitted to intensive care units (like yesterday).
The patients admitted to the medical area are 90 (-5).
12343 are the cases of home isolation (+568).
There were 4 deaths (yesterday, one): a 60-year-old man residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; an 80-year-old man residing in the province of Nuoro; a woman of 86, resident in the province of Oristano, and a resident in the province of Nuoro ".
