Data on the Covid-19 epidemic in Sardinia continue to remain under control. Few infections, only one death and declining numbers on hospitalizations, both in the medical area and in the intensive care units.

Here is the full bulletin released by the regional authorities on Saturday 23 October 2021: “In Sardinia today there are 23 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (24 in the previous update, ed), based on 1618 people tested. A total of 7958 tests were processed, between molecular and antigenic.

There are 7 patients admitted to intensive care units (three fewer than yesterday).

There are 53 patients admitted to the medical area (five fewer than yesterday).

1332 are the cases of home isolation (1 less than yesterday).

The death of a 77-year-old man residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari is recorded ”.
