The daily Covid cases in Sardinia are increasing again, reaching back to almost three thousand, after yesterday they had dropped below one thousand. Patients in intensive care rose to 31, while with almost 20 thousand swabs carried out the positivity rate stood at 15.2%.

Unfortunately, 8 more victims have been registered in the last 24 hours (10 in the previous update).

Here is the full bulletin on the epidemic released by the Region on Tuesday 15 February 2022: “In Sardinia today there are 2,927 further confirmed cases of Covid positivity (of which 2,645 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 19,231 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 31 (+1).
The patients admitted to the medical area are 400 (- 3).
34,901 are the cases of home isolation (+ 915).
There are 8 deaths: an 85-year-old woman and a 69-year-old man residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; two men aged 68 and 80, residing in the province of South Sardinia; two men of 56 and 74 years plus two of 79, residing in the province of Sassari ".
