Coronavirus infections in Sardinia return to increase. And the number of hospitalized patients also rises, both in the ordinary and resuscitation wards. The positivity rate also increased slightly from 0.9% to 1.1%.
Here is the full bulletin released by the regional authorities on Wednesday 1 December 2021: “In Sardinia today there are 145 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (yesterday they were 89, ed), on the basis of 3,039 people tested. A total of 12,269 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.
There are 14 patients admitted to intensive care units (one more than yesterday).
There are 74 patients admitted to the medical area (three more than yesterday).
2,659 are the cases of home isolation (33 more than yesterday).
The death of a 78-year-old man residing in the province of Nuoro (yesterday two victims, ed) is recorded ".
Exactly one year ago - on 1 December 2020 - there were 420 new cases and five victims in 24 hours.
