Covid in Sardinia, a new leap in infections: almost a thousand in 24 hours

New leap of Covid infections in Sardinia.

The bulletin released by the Region on Tuesday 4 October 2022 records 922 cases (of which 860 diagnosed with antigenic swab) in the last 24 hours, compared to 224 in the previous update.

A total of 4147 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

In the intensive care wards 1 patient is hospitalized for coronavirus (yesterday they were finally emptied).

The patients admitted to the medical area are 61 (+ 3).

4809 are the cases of home isolation (+ 16).

Unfortunately, there is a further death : the victim is a 99-year-old man, residing in the province of Sassari.
