The new cases of Covid in Sardinia remain over a thousand. On the island there are also 9 other deaths in 24 hours. With over 10,100 swabs, the positivity rate stands at 12.8%.
Here is the full bulletin released by the Region on Thursday 3 March 2022: “In Sardinia there are today 1305 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (of which 1065 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 10143 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.
The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 26 (-3).
The patients admitted to the medical area are 321 (- 4).
25958 are the cases of home isolation (-1435).
There are 9 deaths: 1 woman aged 60, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; 3 women aged 77, 86 and 91 and 1 man aged 79, residing in the province of Sassari; 1 89 year old woman and 3 77, 78 and 84 year old men resident in the province of South Sardinia ".
