In Sardinia, daily cases of Covid-19 have halved compared to the peak of 1,209 recorded on 31 December, but new infections on the island remain in the hundreds every 24 hours.
There are also 19 more hospitalizations, two of which in intensive care. There are also two new victims of the epidemic at the regional level.
With just over 5,500 tests carried out, a sharp decline compared to over 21,000 in the previous update, the positivity rate in Sardinia jumped from 4.1% to 12.1%.

159 patients are admitted to the medical area (17 more than yesterday).
9116 are the cases of home isolation (611 more than yesterday).
Two patients died (yesterday a victim, ed): a 68-year-old man and a 72-year-old man, both resident in the province of Southern Sardinia ”.
