Covid, in Sardinia 1,551 new cases and a victim. The number of hospitalized patients rises to 186

Covid infections are decreasing in Sardinia, but patients admitted to hospital rise to 186 , of which 10 are in intensive care.

Just over 1,500 new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours (2,416 on Saturday). Also in the last 24 hours there was a new victim (three deaths in the previous update).

With over 7,000 tests performed, the positivity rate stands at 21.7% .

Here is the bulletin released by the Region on Sunday 17 July 2022: “In Sardinia today there are 1551 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (of which 1496 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 7121 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 10 (+1) .

Patients admitted to the medical area are 176 (+6) .

42119 are the cases of home isolation (+962).

The death of a resident in the territory of the ASL of Cagliari is recorded ".
