Covid does not let go of the island: another 1,440 cases and 10 deaths
The victims range from 57 to 94 years. The situation in hospitals is stable, the positivity rate jumped to over 19%

There are 1,440 new cases of positivity registered in the last 24 hours in Sardinia. Of these, according to the latest update of the regional bulletin, 856 diagnosed by antigen test.
A total of 7,454 swabs were processed, with a positivity rate jumping to 19.3%.
Unfortunately, 10 victims were recorded: two women aged 82 and 94, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; three men aged 62, 73, 78 and a woman of 92, residing in the province of South Sardinia; two men aged 57 and 66 and a woman aged 70, residing in the province of Sassari; an 83-year-old woman residing in the province of Oristano.
The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 31, and therefore one less than yesterday. Patients admitted to the medical area increased (+2) to 363.
On the other hand, there are 28,430 cases of home isolation, +652 compared to the previous survey.
The bulletin also specifies, "a death not attributable to Covid of a patient positive for a molecular swab: a 31-year-old woman residing in the province of Oristano".
