There are 735 new cases of Covid registered today in Sardinia according to the latest bulletin of the Crisis Unit, a figure close to the record of 771 infections detected yesterday. With 5,058 people tested and 18,702 molecular and antigenic swabs processed, the positivity rate was 3.9%.

Sardinia mourns three more victims, bringing the total deaths since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,726. A 60-year-old and an 87-year-old from Southern Sardinia and a 91-year-old woman from the Metropolitan City of Cagliari lost their lives.

The number of patients in intensive care is unchanged, which are 15. The people hospitalized in the medical area are 144, two more than yesterday's figure.

There are 6,826 Sardinians in home isolation, 520 more than yesterday.
