Covid, 173 other cases and three deaths on the island. One of the victims was 59 years old
Intensive therapies are slightly down, while hospitalizations in the medical area are on the rise

There are 173 further confirmed cases of positivity to Covid-19 in Sardinia (yesterday there were 181), based on 2692 people tested. Processed in total, between molecular and antigenic, 9313 swabs, with a positivity rate of 1.8%.
Unfortunately, there are three other deaths: two men aged 59 and 86, residing respectively in the province of Nuoro and Southern Sardinia, and another person in the province of Sassari.
There are 7 patients in intensive care units, and therefore two fewer than yesterday. On the other hand, hospitalizations in the medical area rose to 96 and therefore 3 more than in the previous survey.
Cases of home isolation increased by 73 units on the island, which are updated at 3,027.
On 10 December 2020, and therefore a year ago, there were 248 new cases on the island (4163 tests performed) and 7 deaths, people aged between 64 and 89 years. At that time, however, there were 610 patients hospitalized in the medical area and 63 those in intensive care.
