The spectacular sandstone blocks of the ancient quarry almost opposite the Scoglio di Peppino, in Costa Rei (Muravera), are back to being noticed these days. Just like last year (and also during this summer season, they have remained almost always visible) you can glimpse consistent rectangular quarry cuts and dimensions of about a meter and a half in length and sixty centimeters in width. The stones often resurface thanks to the storm surges, more frequent in October.

The quarry could extend to a small lake behind the beach. This time too, there are many curious people who - in addition to sunbathing and diving into an even more transparent sea - come closer to take a photo
