The aim is to have a paid number called, thus absorbing all the victim's telephone credit. Better to pay attention to healthcare-themed scam text messages .

As the Oristano Local Health Authority informs, the Operational Center for Cyber Security of the Sardinian Postal Police has reported to the Sardinian health companies the circulation of fraudulent messages spread via mobile phone in which the fraudster contacts the victim with a text message, presenting himself as belonging to a unspecified socio-health office, to ask questions relating to any adverse effects following the anti-Covid19 vaccination .

The circulating messages usually end with a text like this: « Please contact our social and health offices for communication. Call and listen 89341409 ». It is important, as the Postal Police reminds us, to avoid calling the suggested numbers, opening any attachments they contain or linking to any addresses. The ASL 5 of Oristano, which has never distributed this type of message, therefore invites you to be wary of these and similar health-related SMS and not to dial the numbers indicated.
