A 38-year-old, known to the police, was arrested yesterday evening by the carabinieri in Dolianova , in the act of crime, for detention for the purpose of drug dealing .

The 38 -year-old was stopped around 17.30, in via Roma in Ussana, for normal checks while he was driving his van. The man was found in possession of a jar containing 5 single packaged doses of cocaine with a total weight of 2.3 grams, as well as cash for a total of 640 euros in small denominations.

In the house search that followed, you also found a metal spatula with cocaine residues used for cutting and splitting drugs and cash into small and medium-sized banknotes for a value of 13,650 euros .

The drug and the money were seized .

The man was subjected to house arrest pending the validation hearing.
