Dolianova holds her breath. A direct appeal, without mincing words . "I am speaking to you, I know that it was you who killed Tigro." The speaker is Ugo Cappellacci who makes a final appeal to the conscience of those who committed this frightening act.

The Forza Italia MP last week offered a reward of 1,000 euros for anyone who would help him find the culprit of the killing of Tigro, the cat burned alive in the countryside of the town on February 3. Those who know the face behind this horror have turned to Capellacci, so now that truth has a name.

"You know what you did. I know who you are. And that's why I'm speaking directly to you, even if you're a minor," the MP said in a video message broadcast on his social media channels.

"You burned an innocent being alive. Now you have to look inside yourself and find the courage to face the consequences. Not out of fear, but because it is the only way to understand the gravity of what you have done and find help."

Then an ultimatum : "By the weekend, you must speak to your parents and present yourself spontaneously to the municipal police of Dolianova. If you don't do it, on Monday morning I will personally hand over your name to the authorities. There will be no more excuses."

But there is more. Whoever named the person responsible did not want the 1000 euro reward . He did it out of civic duty, for justice . "And that money - Cappellacci assures - will now go to those who fight every day to defend animals, so that what happened to Tigro never happens again".

Now Dolianova waits. She waits for those who made the mistake to come forward. She waits for that atrocious act to find at least a glimmer of justice .
