For this episode three people go to trial, the motorist and two healthcare workers, accused of manslaughter.

Yesterday in court in Sassari the decision of judge Valentina Nuvoli acquitted the two due to the statute of limitations of the crime, and the 48 year old because the fact does not exist .

During the discussion, the latter's lawyer, Luigi Satta, points out the critical conditions experienced by his client at the time of the crime, such as the impossibility of spotting the ambulance and the high speed of the vehicle that arrived on top of the driver, underlines the lawyer, “like a missile”.

She was charged with the aggravating circumstance of having committed the act in violation of road safety regulations, while for the healthcare workers, defended by lawyers Ilaria Pinna and Pina Zappetto, the accusation was that of not having secured the patient to the stretcher.

Prosecutor Ilaria Achenza had asked for eight months for the 48-year-old.
