Cars parked across the line, covering two stalls. Not just a few sporadic cases, but a system to save a place for "latecomers."

It happens often (too often) in Solanas, on the Sinnai coast, according to what regular visitors say. A parking space right next to the beach is a rare and sought-after commodity, especially on weekends. And it will be more and more so as summer progresses. So it seems that many use this trick: they don't park their vehicle in the parking lot but leave it so that any friends and acquaintances who arrive later can enjoy a space "kept warm": just let them know and the car will be parked better, thus creating the appropriate space.

This crafty trend has been reported in the country's social groups and seems to be a consolidated practice of which the municipal police have also been informed.

But the officers, after a report, "found that they were unable to intervene because the horizontal road markings were non-existent or not very visible." Some people are thus proposing a collection: "We need a can of paint, the cost is negligible."
