Road accident around 1pm on State Road 125 at kilometre 295, at the crossroads for Puntaldia.
A car driven by a young man from Siniscola collided head-on with a high-powered motorbike driven by a German tourist.
The foreigner fared the worst and was rescued by medical personnel from the Croce Bianca di San Teodoro.
The firefighters of the Siniscola detachment took care of securing the vehicles involved.
Traffic slowed down significantly while the Budoni Carabinieri carried out their investigations.
