Car-motorcycle collision in Viale Arbatax. Traffic slowed down for almost an hour. The accident happened at 6.40pm today, near the Eurospin supermarket, in the intersection between Via Matteotti and the road that leads from the town center of Tortolì to Arbatax.

A Honda, headed towards the seaside village, crashed into a Citroen Picasso which was carrying out the maneuver to enter the roadway coming from Via Matteotti. The impact was violent and the centaur, originally from Elini, fell onto the asphalt. Husband and wife traveling in the minivan were unharmed.

The motorcyclist, in pain and bleeding, was rescued by some people who witnessed the collision and immediately afterwards by the staff of the Green Cross of Tortolì. For checks he was transported to the emergency room of Lanusei hospital. The Carabinieri and firefighters of Tortolì were also on site.
