An evening to remember the writer Sergio Atzeni. The event begins today at 7:00 PM in the conference room of the Municipal Library on Vico Del Popolo II. The event, "Voices and Visions of Sergio Atzeni: A Tribute to an Unmistakable Voice in Sardinian, Italian, and European Literature," is organized by the Municipality to celebrate the writer, who was born in Capoterra. Following official greetings from Mayor Beniamino Garau; Councilor for Culture Donatella Dessì; and President of the Culture Committee Bernadette Puddu, the writer Rossana Copez will speak.

The evening will be moderated by Irene Palladini, professor of Italian Literature at the University of Cagliari. Readings of Atzeni's works will be given by Luana Minato, Erino Poli, Viola Pinna, Melissa Trudu, and Francesco Murgia. The evening will feature Gianluca Tommasi on guitar, with Jenny Atzeni appearing. Admission to the event is free.
