Cala Gonone, tourist gets lost among the paths after a day at the beach

An adventure with a happy ending for a Roman tourist who had lost his way along the paths between Cala Luna and the sheepfolds of "buchi arta".

After spending a day at the beach, the young man attempted to return to Cala Gonone following the path to Cala Fuili but got lost among the limestone of Dorgali.

Around 20 o'clock he alerted the operations room of the Nuoro fire brigade, who sent a SAR search team to the scene with Saf (alpine river caving) and Tas (rescue applied topography) qualified personnel.

Around 10 pm the tourist, in good health, was reached, rescued and accompanied to Cala Gonone.
